This Sunday is Pentecost and we are expecting a move of God. We are continuing our series in the Book of Acts, “Living in the Power of the Holy Spirit,” this message is called “The Encounter of the Holy Spirit.” Our heart for this series is that you would move beyond just hearing about God to truly encountering Him. We are seeking a fresh, life changing experience with the Person, the Presence, and the Power of the Holy Spirit. We are looking at Acts 19 when Paul arrived in Ephesus, he met disciples who knew about faith, but he asked them a burning question: “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” They had not even heard of the Holy Spirit! Because it is Pentecost Sunday, we will be laying hands on and praying for people to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
