Join us this Sunday evening at 6:30pm as we continue our series, "Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus." One man is sitting in the dark, completely bound by chains. Then Jesus comes to break his chains and set him free. The town tried iron chains and personal guards, but they failed completely. Jesus walked straight up to this and broke his chains forever. This Sunday evening, Pastor Mark brings us to Luke 8:26–39 for the message: "My Chains Are Gone." Jesus is not afraid of your past, your struggles, or your sin. The same Jesus who crossed the sea for that man is right here in Newtownards to break your chains and set you free. Come expecting to encounter the Lord, whether you are stepping out in obedience, needing His peace, or looking to give your life to Christ for the first time. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome! We will keep a seat for you. We look forward to welcoming you. See you Sunday evening at 6:30 pm! At Ards Elim, we do LIFE together. #ArdsElim #FollowingInTheFootstepsOfJesus #GospelOfLuke #MyChainsAreGone #Luke8 #JesusBreaksChains #FreedomInChrist #JesusIsLord #SundayNights #Newtownards

We are excited to begin a brand new Sermon Series for November "Prepare the Way," walking through the life and ministry of John the Baptist. God sent a voice before He sent the Word. Whether you are a family looking for direction or someone simply needing a fresh word from God. John was sent to be the voice to prepare hearts to hear from the Lord. Step away from the busyness of life and come and let God speak to you personally. This Sunday morning, Pastor Mark brings the opening message in our series, "The Voice in the Wilderness.” Even in your wilderness, God is still speaking and He has not forgotten you. For the Family: Crèche available for little ones. K4C (Children's Church for P1–P7) during the Morning Service. We will also gather around the Lord's table for Communion, remembering Jesus and His finished work as we take the bread and the wine together. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome! We will keep a seat for you. We look forward to welcoming you! See you Sunday morning at 11am. We are finishing our October Sermon Series, "The Word of God Speaks." So many of us are saved, faithful, and love the Lord, yet carry a secret chain we’ve held onto for years—a habit, a lie, or a burden we’ve simply called part of who we are. We can easily find ourselves living like slaves in the Father’s house, calling a chain a necklace and denying the fetter that owns our soul. But Jesus does not expose our chains to crush us, He exposes them to free us! The Word of God does not just want to break your chains; the Word of God speaks freedom! This Sunday morning, Pastor Mark brings the final message in our series, "The Word of God Speaks Freedom," from John 8:31–36. Come expectant to encounter the living Word, build your faith, and see Jesus set hearts and bodies free. Prayer for Freedom We will be believing the Lord and praying for those carrying secret fetters, habits, guilt, fear, and anxiety. Come and be set free by the power of Jesus! We will also gather around the Lord's table for Communion, remembering Jesus and His finished work as we take the bread and the wine together. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome! For the Family: Crèche available for little ones. K4C (Children's Church for P1–P7) during the Morning Service. We look forward to welcoming you. See you Sunday morning at 11am. We are continuing our new October Sermon Series, "The Word of God Speaks." So many of us carry long standing burdens, chronic pain, or disappointments where we have simply stopped expecting anything to change. Like the man at the pool of Bethesda who waited 38 long years, we can easily find ourselves bound by helplessness. But the Word of God does not wait for the water to move, the Word of God speaks healing! This Sunday morning, Pastor Mark brings the next message in our series, "The Word of God Speaks Healing," from John 5. Come expectant to encounter the living Word, build your faith, and see Jesus set hearts and bodies free. Praying for the Sick We will be believing the Lord and praying for the sick during the service. Come and be healed by the power of Jesus! We will also gather around the Lord's table for Communion, remembering Jesus and His finished work as we take the bread and the wine together. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome! Join us this Sunday evening at 6:30pm as we continue our series, "Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus." The storms of life do not ask permission before they come. Whether you are facing a sudden diagnosis, a broken relationship, or a deep trial, the storms will test us. But the storm in your life does not reveal who you are. The storm reveals who He is. This Sunday evening, Pastor Mark brings us to the Sea of Galilee in Luke 8:22–25 for the message: "The Storm That Revealed the Saviour." Join us as we walk through the storm with the disciples and see how Jesus, the Prince of Peace, commands even the winds and the waves, and they obey Him. Come expecting to encounter the Lord, whether you are stepping out in obedience, needing His peace, or looking to give your life to Christ for the first time. Bring a friend, everyone is welcome! We will keep a seat for you. We look forward to welcoming you.
